Best Friends Lifesaving Center
The Best Friends Lifesaving Center is an adoption force in Salt Lake City, dedicated to giving homeless pets their best chance to find forever homes. Each pet at the center comes from a local Utah shelter and each one is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and ready to go home with you. Our center does adoptions daily from 12-6pm and by appointment.
Note that the Best Friends Lifesaving Center does not take in animals from the public. We find we can help more animals by assisting and managing our limited intake through our existing No More Homeless Pets Network partners. A list, searchable by state, can be found on our network page. Additionally, we offer resources with advice for finding a pet a new home in our Resources library.
