About Best Friends in Utah
COVID-19 UPDATE: The Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Salt Lake City is closed to the public. However, our team continues to move animals directly into forever homes with the help of technology, greatly reducing personal contact.
If you are interested in adopting a pet, please complete our dog adoption survey or cat adoption survey to provide us information about your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a dog or cat. An adoption specialist will be in touch with you within 48 hours via phone or email to advise next steps. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support for the animals in Utah during these unprecedented times.
Best Friends Animal Society in Utah is working collaboratively with animal rescue groups, city shelters and passionate individuals who are all dedicated to the mission of making Utah a no-kill state. As part of this mission, Best Friends runs the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Sugar House, and leads the NKUT initiative.
